Feature Race: Listed Belgrave Stakes
Fairyhouse again plays host to Stakes class Flat action on this card, with the Belgrave Stakes taking centre stage. The Listed race over 6f for three-year-olds and up invariably attracts a competitive field and it has produced many high-class winners over the years. Perhaps the most notable winner in recent years has been the subsequent Group 2 winner Haatef, who is currently enjoying a career as a stallion. The race was won in 2010 by Rose Bonheur.
The main supporting race to the main event on the card is the Ballyhack Race and it has tended to attract a strong field of performers that are borderline Listed class. Indeed, the 2010 renewal was won by the subsequent Group 3-placed Mid Mon Lady.
