Irish Grand National Weekend 2012
Fairyhouse Easter Festival will take place on Sunday 8th April to Tuesday 10th April.
With Top Class Racing, Music and Family Fun for the weekend, it is definitely a festival not to be missed. This festival displays the best horses, jockeys and trainers in the industry. The Festival starts off on Easter Sunday with the highlight of the Family fun day being the prestigious Grade 1 Powers Gold Cup.
Easter Monday sees the Ladbrokes Irish Grand National, one of the most iconic events in the Irish Calendar and Carton House Most Stylish Lady Competition, finishing with the Dan Moore Memorial Chase on Easter Tuesday.
For all Racegoers there will be plenty of activity aside from the racing throughout the enclosure including children’s entertainment, parade ring tipster and music. 
Easter Sunday – Family Day
The 7 race card on Easter Sunday marked the start of the Easter Festival. The feature race was the Grade 1 Powers Gold Cup. Sunday was promoted as a family day featuring a fun fair and children’s activity.
