Fairyhouse Racecourse is delighted to be unveiling some refurbished facilities at its next meeting on Sunday 18th September. The meeting will see the opening of the new Tote Sports Lounge on the ground floor of the Powers Stand. The Fairyhouse Racecourse Members have also been relocated to the Powers Stand overlooking the track in the new Fairyhouse Members Lounge. A new suite has also been created in the area adjacent to the pre-parade ring for winning connections to celebrate and experience again their moment of triumph.
Fairyhouse has two fixtures during Solehim Cup week, with this Sunday’s card featuring the €150,000 Tattersalls Ireland Super Auction Sales race. The race was won in 2010 by the Paul Deegan trained ‘Stand to Attention’ who carried the colours of the Young Irish Thoroughbred Breeders Association Racing Club. This year’s entries include Michael Mulvaney’s ‘Tough as Nails’ and a large contingent of British-trained horses.
Admission for both fixtures is only €5 and there is a Solheim Cup Sizzler package for €25 including:- admission, racecard, €5 Tote bet, glass of wine/pint along with slow roasted beef served with fresh breads, salads and potatoes.
Peter Roe, Manager of Fairyhouse said: - “Fairyhouse has invested in our facilities over the summer months and I believe we have got great value in what we have done which should help everyone enjoy their day here. With admission only €5 and with the new improvements I hope all racegoers should have a great day at the races.”
