Day 1 of the Easter Festival - Saturday 8th April 2023

The opening day of the Fairyhouse Easter Festival features the RYBO Handicap Hurdle and is the perfect day to gather a group for a fantastic day of top quality racing followed by live music.

The feature race on the day is the €100,000 RYBO Handicap Hurdle won in 2022 by Glan for trainer Gordon Elliott under Mark Walsh for owner JP McManus. Saturday also plays host to the Ladies Chase a highly sought-after race for the female riders which was won in 2022 by Foxwatch for jockey Jody Townend and trainer Tony Mullins.

The day will be brought to a close with live music in the Festival Marquee. We will have a range of hospitality options suitable for groups of all sizes.
