Marathon Bus 

Return Bus Transport from Dublin 

Departures are from Wellington Quay (Bus Stop 135101), and pre-booking is essential. The ticket price includes a return journey from Dublin to Fairyhouse Racecourse. Buses depart Wellington Quay at 11:00am on Saturday 4th April, Sunday 5th April, and Monday 6th April. Return departures from Fairyhouse Racecourse (Avenue) are at 6:00pm on Saturday and Sunday, and at 6:45pm on Monday. Please note the later return time on Monday.

Train & FREE Shuttle Bus 

M3 Parkway Shuttle Bus 

Irish Rail trains depart from Dublin Connolly Station, with a free shuttle bus transfer for all train ticket holders to Fairyhouse. Shuttle pick-up operates from M3 Parkway railway station for the following train arrivals: Saturday 4th April – 11:28am, 12:28pm and 1:28pm; Sunday 5th April – 11:33am, 12:30pm and 1:30pm; Monday 6th April – 11:32am, 12:29pm and 1:29pm. Return shuttle buses depart from Fairyhouse Racecourse (Avenue) to M3 Parkway each day approximately 30 minutes after the last race, connecting with return trains to Connolly Station.

FREE Local Shuttle Bus 

Return to Surrounding Local Villages

A local shuttle bus service will operate to and from Fairyhouse Racecourse, serving Ashbourne, Ratoath, Dunshaughlin and Dunboyne on a first-come, first-served basis. On Saturday 4th April and Sunday 5th April, pick-ups will take place from Dunshaughlin (beside the church car park) via Dunboyne (Main Street beside the church) at 11:30am, with a second service at 12:30pm. Pick-ups will also operate from Ashbourne (Kelly’s Pub) via Ratoath (Auld Stand Pub) at 11:30am, with a second service at 12:30pm. Return buses will depart approximately 30 minutes after the last race, operating between 6:00pm and 7:30pm to Ratoath, Ashbourne, Dunshaughlin and Dunboyne. On Monday 6th April, the first bus will depart at 11:00am from Ratoath (Auld Stand Pub), Ashbourne (Kelly’s Pub), Dunboyne (Main Street beside the church) and Dunshaughlin (beside the church car park), with a second service at 12:00pm from each location. Return buses will operate approximately 30 minutes after the last race, between 6:30pm and 8:30pm.

Navan Racecourse 

Park & Ride | Pre-Booking Essential

Our friends at Navan Racecourse have opened their car park and will operate a bus service to Fairyhouse Racecourse throughout the Easter Festival weekend, with a convenient stop at the Fair Green in Navan. On Saturday 4th April and Sunday 5th April, buses depart Navan Racecourse from 11:30am, stopping en route at the Fair Green, with return services to the Fair Green and Navan Racecourse approximately 30 minutes after the last race. On Monday 6th April, departure is from 11:00am, with the same return arrangements in place.

Car Parking at Fairyhouse

Free Car Parking 

There is ample free parking available at Fairyhouse Racecourse. Please allow plenty of time for arrival, as the gates will open approximately 2 hours before the first race. Please also be aware that there will be traffic congestion on arrival and departure. Please follow all instructions from the car parking stewards on duty and more importantly enjoy the day!
